The Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association recently announced that a site in the Franklin County Industrial Park was one of six sites  in Middle Tennessee to have met the criteria to be a "Deal Ready Certified Industrial Site". To be certified a site must be free of ownership and environmental issues and it also must meet or exceed  the infrastructure requirements of typical industrial projects.


Franklin County is home to four international manufacturing companies.

 
The world’s largest and most advanced complex of flight simulation test facilities are located at the Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) which is situated at the north end of Franklin County. 

 
Franklin County is located in the Southern Automotive Corridor, with three auto assembly plants and three engine plants within a 50 mile radius.

 

Franklin County is located in the Tennessee Valley Corridor (Oak Ridge,Marshal Space Center, AEDC, and UTSI).
